Deformation of Non-metallic Inclusions in Steel during Rolling Process: A Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
Non-metallic inclusions were deformed and broken during hot cold rolling processes. The deformation of the process had an influence on property steel products. Investigations in was reviewed current study. Physical properties summarized compared, such as melting temperature, viscosity, Young’s modulus, hardness, thermal expansion coefficient, crystallization, Poisson’s ratio. deformability index showed a decreasing tendency with higher reduction. During process, oxide mainly related to temperature viscosity inclusions. With increase increasing due liquid fraction lower MnS increased decrease until reaching austenite ferrite matrix transformation temperature. influenced by modulus hardness Inclusions exhibited process. Moreover, focus inclusion future proposed this paper.

Inclusion Evolution during Modification of Alumina Inclusions by Calcium in Liquid Steel and Deformation during Hot Rolling Process
The production of clean steel involves the controlling, elimination, or modification of nonmetallic inclusions. In Al-killed steels, alumina is the main type of inclusion. Calcium treatment, by wire feeding, is commonly used to modify solid alumina inclusions to calcium aluminates, which exists in a fully or partially liquid phase. Liquid inclusions can improve steel castability, but make inclu...
متن کاملnon-linear study of various slit shear walls in steel structures
seismic retrofit strategies have been developed in the past few decades following the introduction of new seismic provisions and the availability of advanced materials and methods. it can be observed that new approaches to deal with more lateral forces are more innovative and more energy absorbent. in line with this, there is a growing trend toward the use of steel shear walls as a system with ...

The non-asymmetric rolling process of copper and brass wire has been simulated with the Abaqus software. Presented finite element model in this simulation of rolling predicted output curvature and contact surface width in the non-asymmetric mode (in equality of diameter of rollers, the rotational speed of the rollers and the rollers’ surface finish). The material used in this research has strai...
